BCCI Prez seeks report on Cuttack incident
Thursday 08 October 2015

Following the unruly behaviour of the crowd during the second T20 between India and South Africa, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president Shashank Manohar has sought a detailed report from the Orissa Cricket Association (OCA).

The Barabati stadium witnessed some unsporting scenes as India were thrashed by South Africa by even wickets. A particualr set of crowd turned angry and started hurling bottles when the players were heading back to the pavilion at the half-way stage after India were bundled out for 92. The crowd behaviour forced the stoppage of play, as the police were ushered in to control the situation.

The new BCCI president has asked the secretary of the OCA to explain why bottles were allowed inside the stadium since it was against the guidelines given by ICC.
