'Not an astrologer to predict on Indo-Pak series'
Wednesday 09 December 2015

BCCI president Shashank Manohar carefully dodged questions on the proposed Indo-Pak bilateral series, which is in a limbo at the moment as the Indian government has not given the necessary clearance to the high-profile contest.

When Manohar was asked about the status of the series, he gave a strange reply.

"It is Pakistan which needs to decide the venue, ticketing, broadcasters for the series. It is their series," the Vidarbha-based lawyer said.

When asked if there are chances that the government will clear the tour, he smiled and said: "I am not an astrologer and I can't predict," he said.

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Tuesday left for Islamabad to have talks with counterpart Sartaj Aziz.
