Verma urges BCCI to call affiliation committee meeting
Friday 10 July 2015

The secretary of the unrecognized Cricket Association of Bihar Aditya Verma urged the BCCI bosses to conduct a sub-committee meeting for the affiliation committee, which could then look into Bihar's case.

"I humbly request the BCCI office bearers to look into affiliation of 11 states including Bihar, whose cricketers are not getting a fair chance to compete at the national level," Verma, the face of the anti-Srinivasan camp led by Shashank Manohar, said.

Verma also threatened to move court against BCCI if his demands were not met.

"I am waiting the final report from Retd Chief Justice Lodha committee and after that I will move court and raise the issue of 11 states, who have been discarded by the board without any reasons," said Verma.
